Nancy Bamaga

Nancy is one of Australia’s most highly regarded Indigenous Community Cultural Development practitioners. She has probably launched the careers of more Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and performers than anyone else. Nancy was manager of Queensland Aboriginal Creations in the Brisbane CBD for over 10 years and is the creator of numerous cultural festivals. Nancy currently manages an Indigenous dance program in the Queen Street Mall for Brisbane City Council and is the annual organiser for Black History Month. She continues to tirelessly support emerging talent to find a place in the spotlight. Nancy works with Acuro to ensure we maintain a culturally capable workplace so that we can provide solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients from culturally diverse backgrounds.
